- Work Statement In the performance of this contract, the contractor shall provide landscaping services to Sector Jacksonville 4200 Ocean Street Atlantic Beach, FL 32233 and Aids to Navigation Team Jacksonville Beach 1320 4th Ave North Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250 from 01OCT21 to 30SEP22. Service will be conducted between the hours of 0800-1600 Monday � Friday. Scheduled site visits may be arraigned with below POC through 9/28/2021 The contact person for this contract is DCC Joshua Mathis 904-564-7559�������������������������������������������������� ����� ��������������������������������������������������� Annex Duty Officer: 904-564-7500 ����������������������������������������������������������� ��������� ANT Team: 904-241-8401 Scope of Services Cut all grass in designated areas at height no higher than two inches on Coast Guard Base and across A1A around basketball and volley ball court and pavilion to the road edge to the buoy yard fence line, and Aids to Navigation Team Jacksonville Beach every week between April and October and every two weeks between November and March. - Turf areas not accessible to mower will be cut and maintained by a string trimmer and/or chemical means when approved by CG rep. - Edge all curb, walkways, patios, driveways, parking lots, tennis courts, plants and flower beds manually or by mechanical means. - All plants/flower beds will be maintained to control grass weeds by either turning soil manually pulling out foreign growth or using other mechanical means. - All hedge plants will be undercut below established heights and within borders to promote growth and filling hollow areas. After hedge plants re-establish themselves with new growth, trimming will be done to keep plants within boundaries identified. Other flower bed plants are ground cover will be selectively trimmed to promote and develop health growth, fullness and present a good appearance. - All trees and shrubs on Coast Guard property will be selectively pruned to remove dead and/or broken branches as required. During the first week of June, all palm trees will be trimmed up to remove any deadwood in preparation for hurricane season. Any shrubs or trees that encroach on the fence or buildings shall be pruned back so as to not damage fence or buildings. - All rocks/stone flower beds will be maintained with approved* chemical weed killer to keep weeds out of the designated areas. Paved parking lot area will also be treated to eliminate weeds from growing between cracks or in the pavement. - All paper/trash will be picked up before mower passes over items. All debris generated from lawn/plant/flower bed maintenance will be raked and bagged before being placed in Base dumpster. Term of the Lease � The estimated monthly cost of service shall bedue and payable in full on the 1st day of each month commencing on 01OCT21 until 30SEP22. Past performance per FAR�Part 15 will be used in the evaluation process for quotes received.
