- This solicitation is for a new�Stand Alone Construction Contract to repair the Communications Facility at Hanscom AFB. All work will be done IAW the SOW�dated 27 April 2021, which is included in the attachments section of this posting. The work to be performed is under North American Classification System (NAICS) 236220 with the size standard of $39.5M. This will be 100% Small Business Set-Aside with competition restricted to Small Businesses with their headquarters located within a 100 mile radius of the Hanscom AFB Civil Engineering office located at 120 Grenier St, Hanscom AFB, MA 01731.� The general scope of the prospective contract is for the contractors to provide new, redundant cooling capacity to critical communications equipment house as well as upgrade the building and incidental related work to meet required life safety and accessibility code requirements. All work will be performed at the Communications Facility at Hanscom AFB.� The Solicitation (Invitation for Bids-IFB) is downloadable from INTERNET ONLY. The project specification files are Portable Document Format (PDF) files and can be viewed, navigated or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. This package is now available for interested bidders to download. All bids must be hand delivered to this address: 16 Eglin Street, Bldg 1604 Hanscom AFB, MA 01731 Both Electronic and Physical Bid Packages�are due between 10:00AM EDT�and 12:00 PM EDT on 28�September�2021 (these dates supercede all other documented dates and are final and are subject to change by the PCO).� Answers are posted in the Final RFI Document.��� The document titled ""Solicitation"", in the attachments section will include further details on this effort. Please review sections L and M for specific guidance.� Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.� BID OPENING: Bid opening shall take place in Building 1604 at Hanscom AFB, MA in the 1st floor conference room on 28�September�2021 at 2:00PM EDT.
