Description
(UPDATED 23 SEPT 2021) This notice is to inform interested vendors that the United States Coast Guard (USCG) is cancelling this opportunity and will not be releasing a formal solicitation to the marketplace for the MH-60T wire harness kits. The USCG will be pursuing a different path of an inter-agency acquisition (IAA) to meet its needs. Thank you for your feedback and your comments during this market research process. Please stay tuned to SAM.gov for future contracting opportunities with the USCG, as well as watching the Acquisition Planning Forecast System (APFS) records available here:Home | Acquisition Planning Forecast System (dhs.gov) (https://apfs-cloud.dhs.gov) (OLD INFO BELOW) This special notice updates the pre-solicitation synopsis # 70Z02321PREAMH002, which was posted on 10 AUG 2021 and was archived on 30 AUG 2021. This special notice also updates the Sources Sought Notice (SSN) 70Z02320SSNMH60T previously published to this SAM.gov website. This DRAFT solicitation (along with the DRAFT Statement of Work or SOW, the Contract Data Requirements Lists or CDRLs, and the Contract Line Item Number or CLIN Structure and Pricing) are provided for vendors interested in this single-award Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) opportunity. The United States Coast Guard (USCG) will not reimburse vendors for work with this DRAFT solicitation, but is providing it for vendors to get a jumpstart on reading the requirements and to ask questions. To facilitate understanding and to expedite award when the official solicitation is released, vendors are encouraged to email their questions to the Contracting Officer and Contract Specialist noted below on the DRAFT solicitation and its attachments by 12:00 PM Noon on Monday, 13 September 2021. The USCG may or may not publish the official solicitation during this process, but will consider all comments to make the solicitation more understandable and clearer. Questions on any and all aspects of the solicitation and its attachments are acceptable. However, in particular, the USCG would like vendors to consider if the first harness kit can be delivered within eight (8) months of award (per Section F-8, ""Delivery Schedule"") and to also examine the text ofSections L and M to see if there is any confusion or issues with the requirements stated therein. The USCG is finalizing its full technical package and will publish it as soon as possible as an update to this announcement. Thank you for your interest and the USCG looks forward to working with you further.
