Description

Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source The Regional Health Contracting Office, Fort Hood, Texas intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price sole source Contract to GMP, LLC., a small business, under authority Title III of the Federal Property and Administrative Services Act of 1949 (41U.S.C. 251, et. Seq) and Title 40 U.S.C 501, Services for Executive Agencies, as implemented by FAR 8.405-6 and substantiated by the following :FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B):Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized. The Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center (CRDAMC) has a need for the Vocera Smartbadges and accessories due to the current one has reach its end of lifecycle as of December 2019. It is now critical that a replacement device be obtained. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency before the intended award date.� Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. No telephonic inquires will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. � The Regional Health Contracting Office intends to make a sole source award to GMP, LLC., 13350 Ranch Road 12 Wimberly, Texas 78676. �
