- Description
- This is a PRESOLICITATION NOTICE, Solicitation 75H70122Q00001 for the Nick Foerstel Septic, a construction project for the Indian Health Service.� This project will be procured as a 100% Small Business set-aside solicitation under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 237110 Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction.� The associated size standard for this procurement is $39.5 million. The Government anticipates releasing the solicitation on or about 19 October 2021 with proposals due at least 30 calendar days after solicitation issuance.� This date is subject to change.� A full scope of work, plans and specifications and Davis Bacon Wage Determination will be included in the solicitation documents.� Hard copy documents will NOT be available � all documents for proposal purposes will be posted at https://sam.gov/content/home/ for download by interested parties. SCOPE OF WORK:� This project is for the installation of a Tribally-owned water system improvement located on \ for a Cowlitz member in Thurston County, WA.� Under this construction contract, the contractor will complete this project for the construction of a new septic system with shared drain field on fee land in Thurston County, WA (See Attachment 1). This home, is to serve the Cowlitz Tribal Members and their immediate family. This project is for the construction of a new individual septic system on fee land in Thurston County, WA (See Attachment 1).� The proposed septic system is to consist of a two-compartment 1125-gallon septic tank, a 1000-gallon pump chamber, approximately 10 linear feet of 4� solid sewer pipe, approximately 850 linear feet of Class 200 3� PVC transport pipe, and 110 linear feet of gravel less chamber drain-field. All excavation and backfill to be included in costs.� Contractor is responsible for utility locates and necessary construction permits.� A Thurston Licensed Designer.� Contractor is responsible for utility locates and necessary construction permits.� ���� This project will provide septic for a member of the Cowlitz Tribe and their immediate family. �Upon completion, the septic will be transferred to and operated by the homeowner.� LOCATION OF PROJECT: �Cowlitz Tribal Member, 9420 Johnson Point Loop NE, Olympia WA 98516-9311, Thurston County 98346-7603.� This project will take place on tribal land and TERO is NOT applicable. CONSTRUCTION DURATION: Period of Performance is 45-calendar days after issuance of a Notice to Proceed. CONSTRUCTION MAGNITUDE: In accordance with FAR 36.204, the magnitude of this construction project is anticipated to be between $25,000 and $100,000. SITE VISIT: An informal (nonmandatory) site visit is tentatively planned for on or about 27 October at 10:00am PDT.� Further details regarding the single, non-mandatory, Site Visit will be included within the solicitation. CONTRACT TYPE: The Indian Health Service intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) construction contract in support of this requirement. NOTE: ALL DATES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.� SEE SOLICITATION FOR OFFICIAL DATES, TIMES, AND LOCATIONS OF SITE VISITS AND DEADLINES. For the purposes of this procurement, a concern is considered a small business if its average annual revenue for the last three (3) years is less than $39.5 million.
