Description

The General Services Administration (GSA) New England Region, Contract Operations Branch is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) for the North Troy LPOE HVAC Project in North Troy, VT. The U.S. Government has a requirement for the United States General Service Administration at the North Troy, VT LPOE, to upgrade the air handler that provides heating and cooling to the facility. The existing system uses multiple smaller air handlers to achieve the required distribution of conditioned air. The existing air handlers are starting to fail and the location where they were installed is not conducive to maintenance or repair (poor design). The multiple small condensers are also being relocated and replaced to a more efficient location that will result in energy savings. Option 1 will request to provide power to the new condenser unit directly from the main building electrical panel in the unlikely event that the emergency generator lacks sufficient power. This procurement is a 100% Total Small Business Set-aside. The estimated price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. The NAICS Code is�236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction,�with a size standard of $39.5 Million. Requests for Information are encouraged and due to Sebastian Asaro at sebastian.asaro@gsa.gov no later than June 29, 2021. GSA cannot guarantee a response to any RFI's received after this date. Proposals are�due on��July 16, 2021 at 2:00 PM/EST�in accordance with the attached RFP documents. A pre-proposal site visit is scheduled for�June 24, 2021, at 11:00 AM/EST. Technical documents are attached and�available through the secure website via beta.sam.gov. Offerors are responsible for obtaining the RFP and all related documents. It is also the offeror�s responsibility to monitor the site for the release of the RFP, and amendments and any related information.
