- Description
- This action is being solicited with the intent to award a sole source award to Voyager Search. Any other contractors are welcome to submit a quote if they can prove they are technically able to fulfill the requirements of the SOW.of Headquarters Air Mobility Command, Directorate of Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (HQ AMC/A2) requires one year software licenses of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software. This is a supply buy for software that provides the necessary unstructured, database, and geo-spatial data index and discovery capabilities required by AMC/A2. This software provides plug-in architecture that allows new data formats, metadata editors, federated search solutions, and other capabilities to be easily installed and configured. This software is capable of creating indexes of multiple imagery, database, and unstructured data types and federates the results to a central catalog in an Enterprise instance. Data indexing agents and full service support and training is also required as part of this requirement, and these items are incidental to the purchase of the software licenses. This software is solely available through the Voyager Search company, and there are no authorized resellers for this product. The software shall be capable of searching across federated data sources at multiple sites with an unique awareness of the nature of GIS data types not possessed by other Big Data unstructured search products. For example: When searching on information for Potomac, the software will search multiple sources including a multi-layered GIS data file, a database of locations with coordinate data, and several unstructured data files such as Microsoft Word and PDF Files. Contractors must be able to prove the software they provide can facilitate the discovery of what other Analysts already have, not only at NGA Core Sites, but also at remote sites and realize efficiencies by reducing duplication of effort and moving toward NGA's long-term objective of one-touch maintenance for geospatial features. Through the use of 1C mandated standards, non-NGA data-stores can be ultimately included in the scope of NGA's Enterprise Search capability. A search platform includes a plug-in architecture that allows data formats, metadata editors, federated search solutions and other capabilities to be easily installed and configured. Software must also efficiently catalog, and index both Spatial and non-spatial content from an array of content repositories. Contractor must also be able to have subject knowledge experts available to conduct data and usage training. Training does not have to be in consecutive days and will be delivered in one hour increments.
