The call in number for the Bid Opening on Monday, 27�September�2021 at 2:00PM�Eastern is�� (937) 713-0026 (DSN: 713-0026)� � Access Code: 9763386324� General Information � Solicitation Invitation fo Bids Number: FA671221B0006 Original Set Aside: Historically Underutilized Business (HUBZone) Set-Aside (FAR 19.13) Product Service Code: Z2PZ � REPAIR OR ALTERATION OF OTHER NON-BUILDING FACILITIES NAICS Code: 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction Place of Performance: Pittsburgh, PA� 15108 USA This solicitation is designated a 100% HUBZone Small Business set aside. A single award acquisition will be made. The awardee must be HUBZone Small Business certified at time of award. The project consists of one line item. Line Item One:�The contractor shall provide all administration, facilities, materials, labor, and equipment and perform all operations necessary to complete construction as identified in the contract documents, to include, but no limited to, specification and drawings identified herein. General Summary of Work:�Repair work to include removal of the existing metal wall panel assembly and flashing, on the east and west building facades, down to building girts, install new manufactured insulated metal wall panels, and install new head and bottom enclosure flashings in accordance with metal wall panel manufacturer�s standard details. This project will correct water infiltration issues the occupants are experiencing. Amendment 0001:��The Purpose of this Amendment is to attach UPDATED and REVISED drawings, please only refer to the updated drawings. Additionally, the Scope of Work has changed as follows: The vertical strips at the end of each wall have been eliminated. Amendment 0002: The purpose of this Amendment is to attach the Government responses to RFIs. Please see Attachment 07. Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made until funds are available. The project site is located at the 911th AW (AFRC), Pittsburgh Air Reserve Station, 2375 Defense Ave, Coraopolis, PA 15108. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Total contract performance period is 180 calendar days from the date of receipt of the notice to proceed. The award will be a Firm-Fixed Price contract. The NAICS Code is 236220; the Size Standard is $39.5 million average annual receipts over the past three years. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be provided as these documents, which include the solicitation, drawings, and specifications, can be downloaded from the site for federal business opportunities at https://www.sam.gov. As this is a federal construction project, the Construction Wage Rate Requirement applies. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this posting frequently for any updates, changes, and/or amendments to any and all documents. The closing date for submission of offers is Monday 27�September 2021 at 1:00 PM�EST. To be included on the Potential Prime, Subcontractor, and/or Supplier List, interested parties should identify themselves by registering on the Interested Vendors List (IVL) found on the sam.gov website.� Contractors are advised that in order to receive an award as the prime contractor, they must be listed and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) database for the NAICS code 236220. Failure to register will disqualify a contractor from award should the contractor be selected, not registered, nor active at the time of bid opening. Contractors may register via the Internet SAM website at https://www.sam.gov. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. Contractors are also advised that they must complete the Online Representations and Certifications Application or risk having their proposals declared non-responsive. Prime contractors, subcontractors and/or suppliers may attend the site visit which is scheduled for Monday 13�September at 8:30am EST.
