- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE Boat Engines, generators, transmissions, and parts NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Pearl Harbor, HI (FLCPH) is seeking sources for a contemplated of one or multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) for the delivery of Boat Engines, generators, transmissions, and parts. The anticipated duration is a 12-month base period, with four (4) one?year option periods. Period of performance is anticipated to begin as early as 01 January 2022. This Sources Sought Notice is issued for informational and planning purposes only. This is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP). This Notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be made as a result of this Notice. The Navy will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this Notice. This Notice is an announcement seeking market information on businesses capable of providing the supplies as described herein. FLCPH is currently conducting market research to determine qualified, experienced, and interested potential sources capable of providing the supplies described within this Notice. The information requested by this Notice will be used within the Navy to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the agency. For purposes of this Notice, the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333618 � Other Engine Equipment Manufacturing, FSC 2815 � Diesel Engines and Components, and the small business size standard of 1,500 employees. If your business has an interest in proposing on the requirements described below, please provide a Capability Statement to Jeen Chu at jeen.h.chu.civ@us.navy.mil and Troy Wong at troy.r.wong2.civ@us.navy.mil no later than 04 Oct 2021, 02:00 PM Hawaii Standard Time, e-mail subject line: Engine Component SOURCES SOUGHT: CAPABILITY STATEMENT REQUIRED CAPABILITIES Quarterly, annual, and indefinite delivery of brand name only engines, generators, transmissions, and parts in support of the engines, generators, and transmissions. Equipment Condition: New Equipment ONLY; NO re-manufactuered or �gray market� items. All items must be covered by the manufacturer�s warranty. Brand Name only for the engines and parts are Yamaha, Cummins, and Detroit. Brand Name only for the generators is Westerbeke. Brand Name only for the transmission and parts is ZFTransmission. Capability Statements shall include the following: 1. The capabilities statement shall be company?specific. Capability packages that include teaming partners, subcontractors, etc. are not solicited and will not be reviewed. 2. The capabilities statement shall not exceed ten (10) pages (all-inclusive with the exception of the title page, and table of contents). The capabilities statement shall be concise and focused to the required supplies. Capabilities statement should address if your company can meet any brand name supplies listed above. Incomplete statements will not be favorably reviewed. 3. Sales brochures, videos, and other marketing information materials are not solicited and will not be reviewed. 4. Cost or price information is not solicited and will not be reviewed. However, advise on the following: a. Does the manufacturer issue or maintain a price schedule for applicable replacement units and parts? i. If yes, historically how often are the price schedules revised? ii. If yes, historically what is the price escalation % between the revisions? iii. Generally, in what months are the revisions issued? b. How long is the manufacturer�s warranty?\ c. Does replacement units and parts need to be purchased from authorized dealers of the manufacturer to maintain their warranty status? d. What is the average shipment timeframe from date ordered to date received to the ship to address: JBPPH, HI 96860? i. Is express shipping offered? 5. What US Bureau of Labor Statistics Producer Price Index (PPI) would your Manufacturer recommend as most suited for these items? 6. No phone and email inquiries related to the sources sought will be accepted other than the formal submission of responses. 7. All responses shall include: company name; company address; business size; CAGE code; DUNS, current Facility Clearance Level; NAICS codes; point?of?contact name, telephone number, and email address, if an authorized distributor or dealer, and indicate if actively registered on System for Award Management (SAM, formerly CCR). THIS NOTICE IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROPOSALS AND A CONTRACT WILL NOT BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT.
