Description
The International Unmanned and Small Combatants Program Office (PMS 525) is hosting an Industry Day to discuss the U.S. Navy's requirements for the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case regarding the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ministry of Defense. The objective of this Industry Day is to share details on the desired FMS case for a Professional Mariner (PM) Crew, which will�support up to four (4) Multi-Mission Surface Combatants (MMSC), and seek input with interested Contractors on the Navy's plans to support the MMSC ships.� The Navy is interested in understanding Industry perspectives and innovative ideas in achieving the best balance of capabilities and cost for the PM Crew requirements. The Industry Day will span two (2) days, being held on Wednesday, 20 October 2021 (0900 to 1500 EDT) and Thursday, 21 October 2021 (0900 to 1300 EDT) at: HYATT PLACE� VIRGINIA BEACH TOWN CENTER 355 Independence Blvd, Virginia Beach, VA 23462, USA Defense Information System for�Security (DISS) visit requests are not required. This briefing will be UNCLASSIFIED. �This briefing will follow DoD COVID guidance, limiting the in-person attendance and offering a virtual attendance option. Each Contractor is limited to three (3) in-person participants and five (5) overall participates to attend the briefing.� A comprehensive, in-person and virtual, attendee list consisting of: name, company, email address, and phone number will be provided to all attendees after Industry Day is completed. Contractors interested in attending this event should contact Christopher Pellecer and Jennifer Ede via email (christopher.pellecer@navy.mil and jennifer.ede@navy.mil) no later than 1600 EDT on 06�October 2021.� Please include the following information: Subject line: ""N00024-21-R-2308 MMSC Industry Day"", and complete Attachment 1, MMSC Industry Day Registration form. No audio/visual recording devices of any kind will be permitted.� Itinerary: 20 October 2021: Industry Day Agenda 0845 - 0915 Check-in 0915 - 0930 Ground rules/Agenda 0930 - 1030 MMSC Program Brief and Questions 1030 - 1045 Break 1045 - 1200 Individual Breakout Discussions 1200 - 1300 Lunch Break 1300 - 1500 Remainder of Individual Breakout Discussions 21 October 2021: Industry Day Agenda (IF NECESSARY) 0845 - 0915 Check-in 0915 - - 1130 Continuation of Individual Breakout Discussions 1130 - 1145 Break 1145 - 1300 Continuation of Individual Breakout Discussions Note:� Times listed above are EDT and may be changed if necessary. GENERAL Individual Breakout Discussions will follow the MMSC Program Brief and Questions.� Application for an open discussion slot will be requested via Attachment 1, and the schedule will be provided during check-in on the morning of Industry Day, 20 October 2021.� Discussions and questions will be recorded by the Government.� The Government may post a sanitized version of questions received - removing any indication of the company that submitted the question and any company proprietary information - of all questions and answers resulting from the Industry Day.� Briefing slides will be made available after the Industry Day. This announcement is not a contract, request for proposal, a promise to contract, or a commitment of any kind on the part of the Government. �NAVSEA does not assume liability for costs incurred by an attendee or for travel expenses or marketing efforts; therefore, attendee costs in response to this notice are not considered an allowable direct charge to the Government. The Government anticipates high interest for this event. �Onsite registrations will NOT be accepted.� Media is not authorized to attend this event.� Space is limited and will be limited to total of 5 participants from the same organization, inclusive of up to 3 in-person. Your registration must be approved to attend.� Final notification for approval to attend this event will be made no later than the close of business on Monday, 18 October 2021.
