- Description
- The U.S. Forest Service (USFS), Southern Region, anticipates awarding up to four (4) Full-Service Architect�Engineer (AE) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts. These contracts will provide engineering and architectural support for the construction, repair and alterations of facilities throughout the Southern Region. � The Southern Region includes Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia. �It is anticipated most, if not all, work will be located within the boundaries of the Southern Region, however, it is possible that work may be required elsewhere within the United States to support the programs or efforts of the Southern Region. It is the intent to award up to four (4) IDIQ contracts with a shared ceiling of $6,000,000. The guaranteed minimum for each contract awarded is $2,500. The contracts are anticipated to be awarded in August 2020. After contracts are awarded, work will be issued by negotiated firm-fixed-price task orders. Basis for Award of the IDIQ contracts will be on a qualification-based selection process in accordance with Public Law 92-582 (The Brooks Act) and FAR Part 36. Vendors interested in responding to this notice shall follow the instructions for submitting an SF330�detailed in�the attached Request for Qualifications (RFQ).�� The ordering period of the IDIQ contracts will be five (5) years from the effective date or when the shared ceiling of $6,000,000 is reached, whichever comes first. The Government is not obligated to award any task orders beyond the guaranteed minimum of $2,500. The description, scope of work and location of individual projects will be stated in the Request for Proposal issued by the USFS in accordance with the IDIQ contracts.
