Description

Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge (Refuge) announces a pre-solicitation to inform and gather feedback from interested parties regarding a potential marina concession opportunity.� Responses received as part of this pre-solicitation could potentially aid the Refuge with the development of a concession prospectus.� This pre-solicitation does not guarantee that the Refuge or the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) will either issue a prospectus or enter into a concession contract for any or all of the concession areas and amenities referenced in the attached Pre-Solicitation document.� A site visit will be offered for interested parties to inspect the premises (see below and ""Site Visit"" in the attached Pre-Solicitation document�for specific details).� The concession opportunity is for recreational areas�on the Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge and includes an established marina and potential development of almost 200 acres surrounding the Crab Orchard Marina, on the 7,000-acre Crab Orchard Lake in southern Illinois. A guided in-person site visit is scheduled for Tuesday, October 26, 2021.� Contact Beth Kerley at beth_kerley@fws.gov for more information and to register for the tour.� Interested parties must register to attend the site visit.�
