- QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS dated September 30, 2021: Question 1. On each of these two, new opportunities, how many hotel rooms do you need each night on Nov 19 and 20? Answer 1. Please revert back to the amended solicitation under PWS paragraphs 5.2.1 & 5.2.2 Question 2. Is it one room needed per family? Answer 2. Yes, as long as it has a double bed per the PWS paragraph 5.2.3. Question 3. What is the mileage requirement for this solicitation requirement? Answer 3.�Per the Performance Work Statement (PWS), paragraph 1.0, the requirement is a 30 mile radius of the Staunton, VA However, per this question and answer posting, the answer to question 4 below extends the requirement to a 40 mile radius of Staunton, VA.� Question 4. Is there any way to increase the mile radius for this event? Answer 4. At a maximum, a 40 mile radius will be considered for the Staunton, VA Yellow Ribbon event. ----END OF QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS dated September 30, 2021---- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; qoutes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Virginia Army National Guard will conduct a pre-deployment Yellow Ribbon Event for the 116th within Staunton, VA area on November 20, 2021 with an estimated 500 attendees. 116th will require lodging, event space, childcare services, catering services, and parking. The Government will award a Firm Fixed-Price Contract resulting from this Request for Quote (RFQ). The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 721110, (Hotels (except Casino Hotels) and Motels). The Product Service Code (PSC) is V231, (Transportation/Travel/Relocation- Travel/Lodging/Recruitment: Lodging, Hotel/Motel), with a business size standard of 35,000,000.00. This requirement is an 100% Small Business Set-A-Side solicitation and only qualified offerors may submit quotes. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2021-07, dated 10 September 2021. Interested vendors agree to hold the prices in its quote firm for 60 calendar days from the date specified for the closing of this RFQ. ***FUNDS ARE NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS REQUIREMENT. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clause 52.232-18 is included in the solicitation and may be incorporated into any resulting award.*** Payment will be made through the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) application in accordance with DFARS clause 252.232-7006, Wide Area Workflow Payment Instructions. �
