Description
RFI Notice The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research for QGenda Scheduling Licenses product or comparable solutions. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ)/Invitation for Bid (IFB)/Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFQ, IFB or RFP in the future. This notice does not commit the VA to contract for any supply or service. Further, the VA is not seeking quotes, bids or proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals in response to this RFI notice. The anticipated NAICS code is: 541519 Other Computer related services. A brief synopsis of the required services is provided below: VA is seeking information on scheduling program licenses that meets the salient characteristics listed below. If interested and capable of providing an equal product, please see How to respond instructions below. The VA National Telestroke Program (NTSP), Palo Alto VA Medical Center (PAVAMC), requires the services of a reliable rule-based online scheduling program (QGenda Schedule Automation/QGenda Integration Enterprise) to be used over the internet for scheduling approximately 50 staff personnel in our virtual hub and spoke national telestroke network. The requirement is to schedule physician and nursing shifts, of several types each and of varying shift duration, for three months in advance including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. The monthly schedule shall be easy to read, comprehensive, and accurate. The VA is seeking information on similar products that may meet its needs for future contracts. VA Minimum Requirement/Salient Characteristics Defines assignments by individual and organizational groups Displays assignments collectively and individually in calendar formats Accommodates and facilities change management of assignments as well as subsequent communication of changes to involved parties Enables change request by practitioners Facilitates auto-scheduling to specific NTSP defined rules Provides basic reporting tools on usage and shift coverage (nights, weekends, holidays) Possesses both FedRAMP certification and has an ATO to operate within the Veterans Health Administration RESPONSE SUBMISSION Please submit responses via email to camille.dye@va.gov by 4:30 PM CST, October 4, 2021.
