Description

SINGLE SOURCE ANNOUNCEMENT FOR ArcGIS FOR AVIATION CUSTOMIZATION MAINTENANCE TO SUPPORT ENROUTE AND VISUAL CHARTING The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Aeronautical Information Services, has a follow-on requirement to provide technical services to customize and configure the ESRI, ArcGIS software tool to support FAA Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) and Visual Flight Rules (VFR) Charting.� The FAA requires contract assistance to develop and maintain FAA-specific tools to support FAA chart specifications and configure the software to support its charts.� The Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc. (ESRI) developed the ArcGIS Aeronautical Solution proprietary software to develop the Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) charts to support FAA enroute charting.� The FAA has an Enterprise Level Agreement (ELA) to use this software.� ESRI has the proprietary data rights to the software and the authority to modify it to meet the FAA specifications.� The estimated value of this acquisition is $1.3MIL. The applicable NAICS code is 511210, Software Publishers with a small business size standard of $38.5 Million.
