Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Medical Center (FMC Butner), intends to award a Sole Source Purchase Order to Airgas. The service is to provide large volume of medical gases (bulk gas with one 1500 gallon tanks with one 250 gallon reserve tank, liquid oxygen, and tank refills as needed as well as rental of cylinders). This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 - Only responsible source in this area and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. The NAICS code is 325120. This is a Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order for the performance the contract period of performance shall be from November 1, 2021, through September 30, 2022. To the best of our knowledge, Airgas is the only provider of this service. �However any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give a written or fax notification to the Contracting Officer within (10) calendar days from the date of this published synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Information can be sent to the Contracting Officer, FCC Butner. Responses received via email only will be evaluated, however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received by October 15, 2021 11:00 AM EST, FMC Butner will proceed with the sole source award to Airgas.
