- Description
- The Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC Atlantic), Code 63400 is seeking information on commercially available Server System. The MCCIW System must be capable of the following: 1.Workstation - The workstation shall have one 64-bit 8-core processor - The workstation should have one 64-bit 10-core processor - The workstation shall have 128 gigabytes (GB) of double data rate 4 (DDR4) random access memory (RAM) - The workstation shall have a dedicated Graphical Processing Unit (GPU) - The workstation GPU shall have 8 GB of graphics DDR 6 (GDDR6) memory - The workstation GPU should have 16 GB of GDDR6 memory - The workstation shall have a 1 terabyte (TB) Non-Volatile Memory Express (NVMe) primary Operating System (OS) drive - The workstation shall have a 4 TB solid state drive (SSD) secondary drive - The workstation should have a 8 TB SSD secondary drive - All storage devices shall be easily accessible and removed without workstation disassembly or use of special tools - The workstation shall have a 15 inch display - The workstation should have a 17 inch display - The workstation display shall be anti-glare. - The workstation display shall have a resolution of 1280 x 800 - The workstation display should have a resolution of 1920 x 1080 - The workstation display shall have adjustable brightness levels - The workstation shall have an external Dual Layer (DL) Blu-Ray disc drive - The workstation should have an internal DL Blu-Ray disc drive - The optical drive should have a quick release for easy removal of the drive - The workstation shall have three or more Universal Serial Bus (USB) 3.0 ports - The workstation shall have one RJ-45 10/100/1000 Base-T (1000Base-T) Ethernet port - The workstation should have an integrated smart card reader - The workstation shall have an integrated two-button touch pad/pointing device - The touch pad should be able to be disabled by the user - The workstation shall include a USB mouse - The workstation should have a keyboard with a number pad - The workstation should have one DB9 serial connection. - The workstation should have one Video Graphics Adaptor (VGA) connection - The workstation should have one High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) connection - The workstation should have one Display Port connection - All video ports should be located on the rear of the workstation - The workstation shall not have a camera - The workstation shall not have an internal modem - The workstation shall not have a wireless card - The workstation shall have visual indicators for system operational status - The workstation shall support Trusted Platform Module (TPM) v2.0 - The workstation should have side and/or rear fans - The workstation should NOT have bottom fans - The workstation shall NOT be ruggedized or semi-ruggedized - The workstation shall be capable of being supported using existing United States Marine Corps (USMC) Table of Equipment (T/E) tool sets, tool chests, or tool kits - The workstation shall not require any special purpose tools 2.Transit Case - The transit case shall provide foam cutouts for the workstation - The transit case shall provide foam cutouts for the workstation power cord - The transit case shall provide foam cutouts for extraneous peripherals - The transit case shall have a handle for one-person carry - The system, in its transit configuration, shall be less than or equal to 31 pounds - The dimensions of the transit case shall not exceed 66 inches (in.) (167.5 centimeters (cm)) by 26 in. (66 cm) by 88 in. (223.5 cm) 3.Power - The workstation shall not exceed a 13.5 amperes (Amp) power draw - The workstation shall be operated when powered by an external 120/240 volts alternating current (VAC) 60 Hertz (Hz) power source - The workstation shall operate without interruption or damage when input power fluctuates +/- 10% in voltage and +/- 3% in frequency - The workstation shall operate using its batteries for at least 6 hours without being connected to a power supply - The workstation should operate using its batteries for at least 12 hours without being connected to a power supply 4. System Environmental Requirements - The system shall be capable of meeting all operational requirements in all temperatures between +10 and +29 Celsius (?C) (+50 and +85 Fahrenheit (?F)). - The system, in its transit configuration, shall be capable of withstanding all temperatures between -29 and + 49 degrees ?C (-20 and +120 degrees ?F). - The system, in its transit configuration, shall withstand atmospheric pressures ranging from 572 millibar (mbar) to 1063 mbar. - The system, in its transit configuration, shall prevent water penetration in driving rains up to 65 kilometers per hour (kph) (40 miles per hour (mph)). - The system shall meet all functional requirements after exposure to salt fog while in its transit configuration. - The system, in transit configuration, shall withstand vibration induced by internal transport on Jet Cargo Aircraft. - The system, in its transit configuration, shall withstand vibration induced by internal transport on a CH-53. - The system, in its transit configuration, shall withstand vibration induced by internal transport on a C-130. - The system, in its transit configuration, shall withstand vibration induced by transit by common carrier vehicles. - The system, in its transit configuration, shall withstand vibration induced by transit by High Mobility Multi-Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV). - The system, in its transit configuration, shall withstand vibration induced by transit by the Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement (MTVR). - The system, in its transit configuration, shall withstand vibration induced by transport aboard a ship. - The system, in its transit configuration, shall withstand being dropped during routine handling. - The system shall meet all operational requirements after being exposed to blowing dust while in its transit configuration. - The system shall meet all operational requirements after being exposed to blowing sand while in its transit configuration. - The system shall meet all operational requirements after being exposed to settling dust while in its transit configuration. Review of this information is being performed by NIWC Atlantic Code 63400, which aims to conduct objective comparative assessments and validations of commercial products to determine if the solution meets the Government�s requirements. All information received will be treated as public knowledge and may be used in NIWC Atlantic documentation; therefore, vendors should not submit proprietary information in response to this RFI. Specific information sought includes: 1. Company information, including name, address, URL, revenue, and number of employees. 2. Whether the company is a manufacturer or distributor. 3. A point of contact for follow-up information, and the point of contact�s phone number and e-mail address. 4. Product name and a description of features. 5. Cost information such as purchase price and General Services Administration (GSA) schedule information. The submitted information will be evaluated for inclusion in NIWC Atlantic projects. If a NIWC Atlantic project requiring this type of equipment is executed, the equipment selection will be based upon a number of factors, including responder surveys and focus group inputs. Consequently, follow-up requests for feedback should not be made through Federal Business Opportunities posting agency. Vendors may be contacted following submission for more detailed product information. The respondents may be able to provide a portion of the requirements listed above.
