- SOURCES SOUGHT (SS) NOTICE The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) National Acquisition Center encourages interested Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) to respond to this SS notice. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. Companies that are not considered SDVOSB s under NAICS code 333318 / PSC 3695 are not eligible to submit a response to this SS notice. PURPOSE: The purpose of this SS notice is to identify qualified SDVOSB s that are interested and CAPABLE of servicing the Mountain Home, TN Textile Care Processing Facility s need to procure commercial laundry equipment as described in the attached DRAFT Technical Performance Specifications. This SS notice does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ)/Invitation for Bid (IFB)/Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFQ, IFB or RFP in the future. This notice does not commit the VA to contract for any supply or service. Furthermore, the VA is not seeking quotes, bids or proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals in response to this SS notice. There is no solicitation available currently. The VA will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this SS notice. Submittals will not be returned to the responder. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. NAICS CODE AND SIZE STANDARD: The current NAICS code is 333318 Other Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing/ PSC 3695, with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. CAPABILITY STATEMENT/INFORMATION SOUGHT: Interested, SDVOSB s shall submit a tailored capability statement that clearly details the firm s ability to provide equipment and installation services relative to the requirements as described in the attached DRAFT Technical Performance Specifications. Companies shall have the technical capability, experience, and personnel to meet the requirements. In response to this SS notice, please provide: Provide company name, address, size standard, DUNS Number, CAGE code and a point of contact: name, phone number, and email address. Specify the specific line items in which you intend to provide/install. If you will NOT be manufacturing the equipment, you MUST provide information on the manufacturer you intend to use. If you will NOT be performing the installation, you MUST provide a Letter of Intent from the business you intend to use (explaining their agreement with you to perform the installations according to the DRAFT Technical Performance Specifications ). Capability Statement Provide the timeframe that your company has been in business. Provide Descriptive Literature (e.g., cuts, illustrations, drawings, and brochures) to establish details of the equipment offering that meet Technical Performance Specifications, and pertain to significant elements such as design, materials, components, and performance characteristics. Provide any standard or available equipment warranties. Provide installation service warranty, if applicable. Commercial Laundry Equipment Price List to include product/model numbers and part numbers. The Government will not return any information submitted in response to this notice. Responses to this SS notice shall be submitted on or before 12:00PM CT (Central Time) on October 21, 2021 via email to Monique.Lara@va.gov. Companies responding to this SS notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the organization s qualifications to perform the work. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. After a review of the responses received, a pre-solicitation synopsis and solicitation may be published in the Contract Opportunities website.
