- Description
- The Regional Procurement Support Office in Frankfurt, Germany, intends to issue an RFP and award a Firm-Fixed Priced, Requirements type contract during the fourth quarter of calendar year 2021. The successful Contractor shall provide travel management services to the U.S. Embassy Baghdad -Iraq and its affiliated consulate in Erbil, U. S. Embassy Amman � Jordan, U. S. Embassy Damascus � Syria and any US Government future locations.� Corporate travel services shall be provided for official domestic and international travel of Government employees and their dependents. Domestic and International travel includes travel outside of the country of Iraq in which the U. S. Embassy Baghdad and its affiliated Consulate in Erbil, U. S. Embassy Amman-Jordan and U. S. Embassy Damascus - Syria are located, or from or to any other Post as formally requested, and travel outside that country, including travel within the U. S. and other countries. Current workload is approximately 350 tickets per month. The corporate travel services that the Contractor shall provide include: Traveler profiles, Travel reservations, options researching, issuance and delivery of tickets for air, rail, bus and ocean vessel carriers; refunds, and where possible, advance seat assignments and advance boarding passes. Reservations for lodging accommodations. Commercial automobile rental services. Assistance in obtaining passports, visas, and advice regarding health, transit, entry, and airlines pet requirements. Detailed travelers' itineraries. Management information and billing reports derived from the booking database. Accurate and automated reconciliation of travel charges incurred through the Government's CBA and GTR accounts. Seminars, meetings, and workshops at sites selected by the Government (including conference rooms, lodging, meals, ground transportation, audio-visual equipment, and related services); and, Information pamphlets for Government travelers who use the contract. The contract�s period of performance shall begin on, or about, January 2022 and last 12 months, with four additional option year periods. In accordance with DOSAR 652.242-73 AUTHORIZATION AND PERFORMANCE (AUG 1999), it will be necessary for your organization to possess authorization to operate and do business in the country in which this contract will be performed. Furthermore, authorization shall include the requirement to be registered to do business in Jordan: a.�� A thorough description as to what steps you have taken to investigate all requirements to obtain authorization to perform in the given country, and to obtain in-country business registration; b.�� Details of your findings and a description of what your organization will actually be required to undertake to obtain licensing; and c.�� Specific information concerning the period of time you anticipate it will take to obtain appropriate authorization. You will be required to provide information that clearly shows you are able to perform work in Amman, Jordan.� Any entry or work visa issues requirements must be clearly discussed with a plan to mitigate any risk clearly identified.� If you have a Duns number* and have been SAM** registered, please include below. �Please note that the requirement to obtain a Duns number and for your company to be SAM registered, will be a mandatory requirement upon contract award.
