Description
The US Air Force (USAF) intends to solicit and issue one (1) Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for the following Commodities: The 76th AMXG requires the purchase and delivery of 45-ft. Articulating Boom Lifts with Jib. The requested quantity and specifications for the 45-ft. Articulating Boom Lifts with Jib requirement are detailed as follows: � Quantity of Three (3) 45-ft Articulating Boom Lifts with Jib Articulating boom lifts shall be battery powered. Each lift shall have an integrated 120V smart charger capable of charging the batteries in a minimum of 8.5 hours with automatic battery protection. Boom Lifts shall have a minimum platform height of 45-ft. Boom lifts shall have a minimum horizontal reach of 23-ft. Boom lift shall have a jib with a minimum of 130 degrees of vertical articulation. Boom Lift shall have a minimum platform rotation of 140 degrees. Boom lifts shall have a maximum tail swing of 0�. Boom lift turntable shall have a minimum of 355 degrees of non-continuous rotation. The boom lifts shall have OSHA certified fall arrest systems attached to the bucket of the lift that shall allow personnel to safely perform tasks outside of the basket. The boom lifts shall have a platform weight capacity to support a minimum two (2) persons with tools (500 lbs./ 227 kg.).� Boom lift platform dimensions shall be a minimum of 2.5-ft x 6-ft. Boom lift platform shall have toe boards with a minimum height of 6�. Machine stowed height shall be no more than 8-ft tall Stowed machine shall be no more than 6-ft wide Stowed machine shall be no more than 23-ft long Machine shall have a maximum outside turning radius of 16-ft. The machine shall have a minimum stowed drive speed of 3 mph. The machine shall have a minimum ground clearance of 8�. Machine shall have a minimum foam filled tire size of 15�. Machine shall have a minimum 30% gradeability. The boom lifts shall be used in a wet environment (chemical depainting of aircraft) and shall be designed with NEMA enclosures for hose directed water. The boom lifts shall be equipped with all minimum standard safety system equipment (i.e. movement alarms, emergency stops, tilt alarms, and battery charge indicators, etc.). The boom lifts shall have a bump protection system designed to stop movement of the platform if the bucket were to come in contact with an object. Boom lift basket shall be equipped with bumpers to minimize damage if the boom lift contacts an aircraft. The contractor shall furnish a minimum of three (3) hard copies of the Operation and Maintenance manuals at delivery.� Electronic versions of the Operational and Maintenance manuals shall be provided in addition to the minimum three (3) hard copies.� The manual shall recommend instructions on preventative and remedial maintenance. Maintenance Manuals.� The contractor shall supply his recommendations for an on-going maintenance program.� Program recommendations shall include recommended inspection criteria, intervals and periodic and long-term maintenance operations.� As built drawings shall include illustrated parts breakdown showing part numbers for replacement parts.� Recommendations shall also include quantities and frequency of repair parts to be kept on hand for frequent repairs. Inspection Manuals Training Manuals Spare Parts List � The contractor shall provide a recommended spare parts list and information on cost and sources of supply. Estimated Period of Performance: 120 Days ARO. Total Small Business Set-Aside.
