Description

The Charles George Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) located at 1100 Tunnel Road Asheville, North Carolina 28805, has a requirement for a contractor to provide COVID-19 UNARMED SECURITY MEDICAL SCREENERS. The purpose of this requirement is to provide professional, courteous, uniformed, and unarmed security guard services for the Charles George VA Medical Center (CGVAMC) in Asheville, NC and it s three (3) Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC)s located in Hickory, NC (HCBOC), Rutherfordton, NC (RCBOC), and Franklin, NC (FCBOC). This is a Presolicitation only. Interested contractors should watch for the issuance of the solicitation which will have specific instructions and requirements associated with this procurement. The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is on or about October 14, 2021. In accordance with Public Law, P.L. 109-461, this is a 100% SDVOSB set-aside. The NAICS Code for this procurement 561612 - Security Guards and Patrol Services size standard of $22.0 Million. All interested parties must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://sam.gov/content/home) and verified in VIP (https://vetbiz.va.gov/vip/) as a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) prior to submitting a Quote.
