- Description
- The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey, in support of the Office of the Project Manager for Combat Ammunition Systems (PM-CAS) has a requirement to manufacture, produce, inspect, store, stage and ship the following mortar systems: M121 120mm Carrier Mounted Mortar System and the M120A1 120mm Ground Mounted Mortar System to include the 120mm M298 Mortar Cannon and 120mm Mortar Stowage Kit M326 mounted on the M1101/M1102 Cargo Trailer. Work required will also include the kitting of Government Furnished Property supplied items into complete Basic Issue Items and Direct Support Tool Kits along with other designated Additional Authorization List Items. The Government may order complete assemblies, subassemblies, components, and parts of the complete systems which are individually packaged items of the above systems. This solicitation will utilize a full and open competition approach, and will result in the award of a single Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with five, one-year ordering periods.� The total estimated contract ceiling will be $49.2M over the five year period. The Government will issue delivery orders to the contractor selected for award This requirement involves technical data marked Distribution Statement D (authorized distribution of technical documents to the Department of Defense (DoD) and U.S. DoD Contractors).� Interested contractors will be required to provide a non-disclosure agreement and a Military Critical Technical Data Agreement (DD Form 2345) via the Joint Certification Program prior to receipt of the U.S. Government-owned TDP. Foreign sources will be eligible to receive the TDPs but must receive approval from PM CAS. In addition to providing the documents listed in the previous paragraph, foreign sources must provide evidence of a current and valid license, or another applicable agreement, prior to obtaining the TDPs. Foreign sources must also identify any required procedures for exporting items. PM CAS reserves the right to deny the release of technical data to any source at its discretion. The TDPs contain technical data whose export is restricted by the Arms Export Control Act (Title 22, U.S.C., Sec 2751, et. seq.) or the Export Administration Act of 1979, as amended, Title 50, U.S.C., App. 2401 et. seq. Violations of these export laws are subject to severe criminal penalties. Contractors shall register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database by accessing the SAM web site at http://www.sam.gov in order to be eligible for contract award.
