- Description
- Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR), Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic and Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific would like to announce an Information Warfare Research Project (IWRP) Consortium Virtual Industry Day to be held, on Wednesday, 20 October 2021. The event will include briefings from the NIWC LANT Acquisition Planning Services, IWRP Program Manager, Consortium Management Firm, Technical Briefs, and one-on-one break-out teleconferences. Technical briefs presented during the IWRP Consortium Virtual Industry Day will include a variety of information warfare research technology focus area topics. It is anticipated that the topics will be the basis of upcoming Requests for Prototype Projects (RPPs) to IWRP Consortium Members. This is not a Request for Prototype Projects, but for planning purposes only. A project will not be awarded from this announcement. In order to obtain more information regarding the below projects, you must be a member of the IWRP Consortium. For more information on becoming an IWRP consortium member, please visit https://www.theiwrp.org. The purpose of this announcement is to provide members of the IWRP Consortium, and industry in general, advanced notification of Government intent. The Government anticipates one (1) Requests for Prototype Project (RPP) for white papers, enhanced white papers or full proposals to be solicited via N65236-18-9-0001. RPP topic will include a technical brief and one-on-one break-out teleconferences. The RPP topic consists of the following: 1)22-LANT-0227 Navy Maritime Maintenance Enterprise Solution (NMMES) Strategic Planning and Forecasting (SPF): The Government is seeking to prototype the next generation of Strategic Planning and Forecasting tool consolidating the functions of the headquarters monitoring version and consumer version into one product. The greatest immediate need of the tool is to monitor workload demand, account for organic and external labor utilization, and provide actionable feedback on feasibility and same constraints for decision makers. The Government will be presenting five (5) Pre-Solicitation Collaborations (PSC), which will include a short brief and one-on-one break-out teleconferences. The PSC topics consist of the following: 1)Prototype Radio Frequency (RF) Distribution List: The government is seeking the opportunity to discuss designing and building three prototype RF Distribution units as an RF interface for an 11 Slot Snapshot 3 aligned VPX chassis (HTLv-C3-11) and Omni/DF Receive antenna and transmit amplifier solutions. 2)Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) Cloud Services: The government is seeking the opportunity to discuss a ""solution"" demo on a service delivery model (both IT platform(s) and service delivery) which will enable both effective delivery of CSSP cloud services AND be cost efficient to the mission owner and CSSP. 3)IWRP Process Improvement of DD-254: The government is seeking the opportunity to discuss creating an efficient way to track and flow internal information between the Special Security Office, the IWRP staff, and various stakeholders once ingested from the Consortium Management Firm (CMF). 4)Model-Based Practices: The government is seeking the opportunity to discuss how industry is employing model-based practices now. 5)Construction Cost Estimating Generator: The government is seeking the opportunity to discuss being hosted in a Cloud-based environment using staged data with a series of variable inputs: Platform, Schedule, GWBS, etc. and result in an accurate estimation of the cost associated with those variables. The Government will be presenting two (2) Technical Collaboration Exchange (TCE), which will include a short brief and round table discussions. The TCE topics consist of the following: 1)IWRP DON CIO IPT Inquiry: The government is seeking to understand timelines/maturity of 5G capabilities. 2)The Customer's Experience (CX) Within the Navy's Business Systems: The government is seeking to have a CX that will increase customer feedback by integrating CX collection tools, services and strategies.
