Description

The Army Contracting Command-Redstone Arsenal-Corpus Christi Army Depot, Contracting Office in Corpus Christi, Texas is issuing this sources sought as a means of conducting market research to identify potential small business concerns having an interest and capability to upgrade the Infrastructure, Communications, and Software of CCAD�s existing Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS). CCAD�s current ASRS manages two HK4000 Unit Load Retrieval Machines (SRMs), three HK750 Mini Load SRMs, twenty-four Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV), a conveyor system, and is integrated into the Army�s customized Enterprise Resource Planning Logistic Modernization Program (LMP). In addition to a software replacement/upgrade, CCAD�s communication network and conveyor and AGV control hardware are in need of replacement to ensure the entire ASRS is optimized for performance. The following 3 phases make up the critical requirements of this upgrade: 1)��Communications: The contractor shall engineer, furnish, install, and test (EFI&T) a complete and usable telecommunications single mode (SM) fiber optic cable (FOC) system from CCAD�s Data Center in Building 8 to specified program logic controllers (PLCs) and AGV enclosures.�� 2)��Conveyor and AGV Control Requirements: All Program Logic Controllers (PLCs) interfacing the conveyor system and AGVs will be replaced due to age and obsolesce. 3)��New Software: The new software must adhere to all DoD cyber security requirements (i.e. Common Access Card CAC authentication), have the ability to interface with all components of the system, provide real time statistics on performance and maintenance indicators, and adhere to AS 9110 (equivalent) quality management standards. The results of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement.� Based on the responses to this sources sought notice/market research, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses (in full or in part) or procured through full and open competition. All small business set-aside categories will be considered.� Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding submissions.
