Description

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. A DETERMINATION NOT TO COMPETE THE PROPOSED PROCUREMENT BASED UPON RESPONSES TO THIS NOTICE IS SOLELY WITHIN THE DISCRETION OF THE GOVERNMENT. The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS) Contracting Office�(Code 440), hereby provides notice of its intent to award a sole-source, firm fixed contract, to Bermingham Controls Inc.. The contract is expected to be awarded under FAR 13.106-1 (b). A Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been prepared. The period of performance shall be four weeks. This is a non-personnel services contract to provide inspection, repair and testing of a Bermingham Controls Leslie Valve. NAICS, 811310 - Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except automotive and electronic) Repair and Maintenance. J048 - MAINT/REPAIR/REBUILD OF EQUIPMENT- VALVES THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, interested parties may identify their interest, a quote, and capabilities to respond to this requirement no later than October 25, 2021 8AM, PST. Questions must be submitted no later than October 22, 2021 8 AM, PST. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
