Description

NOAA's Marine Operations Center, Acquisition, Accountability, and Analysis Branch, intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, under authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), with Tees Component Limited, North Skelton Saltburn-by-the-sea, Cleveland �TS12 2AP, United Kingdom, OEM Elliott White Gill Thrusters White Gill Bow thruster parts for the NOAA Ship Ronald Brown. The sole source determination is for the OEM Tees Component Limited and it is the only Authorized U.S. Agent for Elliott White Gill Bow Thrusters and no�distributors were found in the USA. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation package is available. However, firms that believe they can provide Elliott White Gill Bow Thrusters and are an authorized seller, distributor from the OEM and can provide the parts without compromising warranty, delivery or any mark ups may submit substantiating documentation in writing to the identified point of contact within 5 days after publication of this synopsis. Such documentation will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to conduct a competitive procurement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
