Description

This notice is for Solicitation Number 36C24222Q0066, Project Number 526-CSI-100C Specialized Rigging Service HTHC at James J. Peters VA Medical Center, 130 West Kingsbridge Road, Bronx, New York 10468-3904. This shall be a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB)Set-Aside. As a result, all SDVOSBs may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency. This project is classified under NAICS Code 236220 and has a size standard of $36.5 Million. The cost estimate range for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Scope of Work: The scope of work shall generally consist of, but not limited to the following: GENERAL SCOPE This request will provide certified rigging services for five (5) Radiation/X-Ray equipment installations at the JJP-VA Bronx Campus. These services will be in collaboration with the confirmed equipment manufacturers who can also confirm equipment weight. Site visit required. The certified rigging service will be responsible for: Basic rigging preparing loads that need to be moved. Setting, aligning, and leveling heavy equipment machinery. Preparing rigging equipment including beams, pulleys, clamps, and bolts. Mechanical installation and calibration. Dismantle existing systems, scrap and debris cleanup. Transportation to scrap system. Provision of lifting equipment (i.e., forklift, wheel kits) for unload of new system delivered. Coordination with JJP-VA Bronx Elevator Mechanic for delivery. Return trip with truck for frames and debris after installation. All applicable OSHA requirements as noted by the US Department of Labor/ 1926.753 (Hosting and Rigging.
