- Description
- The Department of the Air Force, Air Education and Training Command (AETC) Air Force Security Assistance Training Squadron (AFSAT), has a potential Foreign Military Sales F-16 International Aircraft Maintenance and Pilot Differences Training requirement. This Draft Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued and intended for planning purposes only. The purpose of this Draft RFP is to survey industry interest and obtain industry feedback. Any information provided by industry to the Government is strictly voluntary and is to be provided at no cost to the Government. The Government will not reimburse vendors for any preparation/submission costs. This is not a Synopsis or a Request for Proposal (RFP). It is not to be construed as a formal solicitation or an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. The information obtained through this Draft RFP will be used by the Air Force multi-functional team to facilitate decision making. The primary points of contact for this Draft RFP are�Joseph Ocampo and A. Ryan Rodriguez. Contact with other Government personnel regarding this Draft RFP is NOT permitted. Responses containing proprietary information must be identified to prevent release to the public via posting on the General Services Administration SAM.gov website. PROPRIETARY INFORMATION, also known as a trade secret, is information that a company wishes to keep confidential or secret from those outside of the company. Proprietary information may include formulas, processes, and methods used in production. Proprietary information must be clearly MARKED/BOLDED/HIGHLIGHTED and/or EXPLAINED in the beginning and throughout any documents. The Government is ONLY seeking industry feedback and questions in regards to the Draft RFP. Capability statements will not be reviewed. Industry feedback and questions shall be submitted via email to Joseph Ocampo at joseph.ocampo.3@us.af.mil and A. Ryan Rodriguez at arnold.rodriguez.3@us.af.mil no later than 6 August 2021 at 1400 CST. All industry feedback and questions will be posted with Government responses�to SAM.gov.�� 20 August 2021: Draft RFP Questions and Answers have been posted. 27 September 2021: Additional Questions and Answers have been posted. The additional questions are titled Draft RFP Questions and Answers�2.� 22 October 2021: Additional Questional and Answers have been posted. The addtional questions are titled Draft RFP Questions and Answers 3.
