- Amendment 0004�is issued for the following reasons: To provide responses to pre-proposal inquiries Amendment 0003�is issued for the following reasons: To provide responses to pre-proposal inquiries Amendment 0002 is issued for the following reasons: To provide responses to pre-proposal inquiries Amendment 0001 is issued for the following reasons: To provide a response�to pre-proposal inquiry This procurement will result in a multiple award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract for multi-discipline Architect-Engineer (A-E) services for Medical Treatment Facilities design projects that will be predominantly for Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization (SRM) projects located throughout the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Area of Responsibility (AOR), Worldwide.� Work may also include Military Construction (MILCON) projects and medical studies. The types of medical treatment facilities design projects expected to be performed under this contract are for 500 series facilities as defined by UFC 2-000-05N �Facility Planning Criteria for Navy/Marine Corps Shore Installations� (including but not limited to hospitals, dental clinics, medical clinics, veterinary clinics, laboratories) and will be predominantly for Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization (SRM) projects, but may include MILCON projects and medical studies. Projects will be designed in accordance with criteria prescribed in the latest version of UFC 4-510-01 �Design: Military Medical Facilities� and under the Architectural Barriers Act (ABA). Architect-Engineer Services that may be required under this contract include, but are not limited to, DD Form 1391 documentation, Performance of Post Award Construction Services (PCAS), Design-Build RFPs, Design-Bid-Build Construction Documents, cost engineering services including cost estimates, related studies, field investigations, surveying and mapping, tests, evaluations, consultations, program management, conceptual designs, geotechnical subsurface exploration and studies (including but not limited to soil borings), hazardous materials identification, energy computation, life safety code studies, interior space comprehensive planning/design, conceptual designs, risk analysis studies, schedule analyses, defense health medical studies (health care requirements analysis, deficiency tabulations, facility utilization studies, economical analysis, project books, concept of operations), value engineering, other associated engineering services, shop drawing review, as-built drawing preparation, Operation and Maintenance Support Information (OMSI), commissioning, construction inspection, engineering consultation services during construction and criteria development and updates, (United Facilities Criteria (UFC) and United Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS) updates/consultation).
