- Amendment 0001�adds clause 252.223-7999 Ensuring Adequate COVID-19 Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors (Deviation 2021-O0009). No change to the submission date. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is seeking to establish a blanket purchase agreement (BPA) with the purpose of procuring recurring inspection, maintenance and emergency repair services, and controls support involving an existing Komatsu Aquadigger PC3000 mining excavator currently ring mounted to a floating barge with Royal IHC eXcavator Position Monitoring system (XPM),Timberland Hydraulic Barge Handling Winch Systems and Lantec Hydraulic Winches integrated into the Komatsu Aquadigger PC3000 controls.� This equipment is typically located at the Soo Area Office (SAO). The contractor must provide the necessary tools, diagnostic equipment, and materials to self-perform the full range of Komatsu diagnostics, full system analysis, inspections, maintenance, tune-ups, and repairs, to ancillary items integrated within the Komatsu Aquadigger PC3000 hydraulic system and controls. The contractor shall be capable of providing service 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. All services are to be provided in the field, which is generally at the SAO in Sault Sainte Marie, MI.� However, service calls may be required at other locations within a 10-mile radius of the SAO. All repairs shall be performed in accordance with contract terms and specification descriptions as ordered.� All work is to be performed to the manufacturer�s requirements as detailed in the manufacturers� service manuals, as noted in the training classes conducted by Komatsu, Royal IHC, Timberland, Lantec, and their subcomponent manufactures as noted in service bulletins, and/or as otherwise directed by the manufactures and/or their subcomponent manufactures. Work to be performed �includes, but is not limited to, repair work, ranging from minor troubleshooting and related adjustments to performing any troubleshooting and repair work on the equipment that can be accomplished without removal of the barge from the St Marys Falls Canal facility. This includes routine preventative maintenance, annual inspections, and updates through major component overhaul and/or replacement. This�Request for Proposal�(RFP) is intended to be issued a firm-fixed price blanket purchase agreement. The solicitation package materials, documents, specifications, and attachments to the solicitation are available only electronically and via beta.sam.gov and are attached to this solicitation notice. Hard copy documents will not be supplied by the Government to any interested parties as a result of this solicitation. Please note that the Government will not be maintaining a bidders list during the solicitation period. In order for interested contractors to conduct business with the Federal Government, contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submission of bid.
