- Physicists Survey and Radiation Output verification Montana VA Health Care System BRIEF SCOPE OF WORK (This is for information only) IMPORTANT NOTE: This Sources Sought is for market research purposes only (to determine the socioeconomic status of interested companies). No award will be made off this posting. The Montana VA Health Care System, requires an Indefinite Delivery and Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to perform Medical Physicist services. The contractor is to provide Physicists testing to include new machine dose, linearity, reproducibility, and site shielding survey. Annual calibration, testing of Gamma Camera and annual testing of all Montana VA healthcare radiation emitting machines from dental systems, RAD, R/F, and CT in accordance with 29 CFR. The requirement includes half value layer, Timer, Reproducibility, Linearity of kV and mA, filaments, x-ray to light field, ion chamber balance, and room radiation survey supporting the VA mission. This is a non-personal services contract. The Contractor, its employees, agents, and subcontractors shall not be considered VA employees for any purpose of fulfilling the PWS and shall be considered employees of the Contractor. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, shipping, transportation, insurances, licenses, certifications, and supervision necessary to provide services in accordance with this Performance Work Statement (PWS). The Contractor is responsible for all charges and fees related to disposal of materials generated by the Contractor. Physicists Contractor must provide all labor, equipment, and transportation to provide service repair and preventative maintenance (PM's) in Billings, Fort Harrison/ Helena Montana, Missoula Montana Veterans Affairs in accordance with 29 CFR requirements of Physicists. 2. The Contractor must respond to service request and schedule to be onsite to test new machines, new z-ray tubes within two weeks of being notified. Giving ample time to schedule. 3.
