- Upgrading Work for Control Systems - Performed: Conduct upgrading work that includes specified component replacements, purchase of required materials, inspections, and testing to ensure equipment is fully operational to be able to load/unload up to 60 Ton weight (aka�100% max capacity) and 75 Ton weight (aka 125% test load) in accordance with the manufacturer�s original specifications, or latest conditions updated accordingly. The upgrading work includes, but is not limited to the following works: a. Procure replacement items and materials: The Contractor shall provide all necessary equipment, Inverters, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and wiring connecting the replaced items, and computer software at no additional cost to the�Government. The contractor shall be responsible for all applicable components and sub-components to maintain proper operation, to prevent breakdowns or deficiencies, and to propose recommendation to maximize useful life in accordance with the latest manufacturer�s standard. b. Inspection: Inspect all applicable components and sub-components for conditions, cleanliness, damage, defects, deterioration, corrosion, proper operating record to load/unload for applicable capacities, electrical connections, and the locations/positions correction as required, and verify the equipment location is free of debris and/or flammable material, during and/or end of the work scheduled daily and the completion of the work. Note: Inspection and operational test shall be including to ensure equipment systems are fully operational to be able to load/unload up to 60 Ton weight, which historically aka 100% max capacity and 75 Ton weight aka 125% test load, that validation required for the designated crane conditions and applicable capacities each upon task order receipt�periodically as it is subject to change for updated or some matters in the case. c. Replacement of equipment and systems: Replace all existing Inverters, PLCs, and associated parts and materials as new ones. The contractor shall be responsible for maintaining/testing replacement parts properly. Note: Unless otherwise specified or specifically authorized by the Contracting Officer, existing materials and equipment shall be removed but will remain the property of the Government accordingly, where authorized after coordination. The Contractor shall remove and handle the material and equipment without damage and deliver to the Government designated area at the work site. d. Re-wiring: Re-wiring all replaced items and materials e. Change software: Change software in order to match all replaced items and materials. f. Clean: All applicable components and sub-components are maintained in a clean condition. The equipment location, and operations/works entire area shall be free of debris and/or flammable material, during and/or end of the work scheduled daily and the completion of the work. g. Test: Conduct non-load/load testing, operational performance tests and measurements for the all applicable components and sub-components as required. Test audible and/or visual signals. The contractor shall be responsible for maintaining/testing replacement parts properly. h. Repairs: Incidental minor repairs discovered during scheduled work is performed per SOW.
