- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into sole source negotiations to establish a five-year Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with The Boeing Company, located in Saint Louis, MO, for the teardown, maintenance, repair and proof load testing of the F/A-18E/F and EA-18G Aircraft Sling, P/N 74D110501-1001, in support of the F/A-18 E/F and EA-18G aircrafts. The Boeing Company is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the Aircraft Sling, P/N 74D110501-1001, and only The Boeing Company has the data rights and proprietary information needed to teardown, proof load test, provide maintenance services, and repair the F/A-18E/F and EA-18G Aircraft Sling. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this requirement under the authority of�10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.�THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.� However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for an award of a contract.
