TITLE:�NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE SOL:� 36C24222Q0078 DUE: Wednesday November 03, 2021 at 3:30 PM EST.� SET ASIDE: Not Set-Aside NAICS:423450: Medical, Dental, and Hospital Equipment and Supplies Merchant Wholesalers POP:  11/12/2021 12/31/2021 AGENCY: Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2 POC: Mariangie Rivera, email Mariangie.Rivera@va.gov�DESCRIPTION: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT TO MIDMARK CORPORATION.� Market research was conducted, and it was determined that Midmark Corporation is the only vendor capable of providing the required services in delivering and installation of the prepurchase exam tables Midmark 626, 641, and 647, as well as the removal of old exam tables and taken offsite as stated in the statement of work. This service shall include the Contractor in taking full responsibility for any damages, defects, and any other conditions outside of the warranty acquired from the delivery from the seller to buyer. The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, equipment, tools, materials, accessories, etc., for complete delivery and installation service. Delivery service shall include the installation of the new prepurchase Midmark Exam Procedure Tables, Models 626, 641, and 647. This service shall also include removal of old existing exam tables in the following clinics: ENT, Urology, Podiatry, and 12N Specialty Clinics. The Contractor shall include services that provides a complete delivery, installation, and removal of the equipment as stated in the statement of work. All service and repairs must be performed during the normal business hours of coverage unless requested and approved by the Contracting Officer Representative (COR). Normal business hours of coverage are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, excluding federal holidays and any other specified declared holidays by the President of the United States. This Notice of Intent is not a request for Proposals or Quotations.� No solicitation document exists, and no telephone or email inquiries will be accepted.� Furthermore, no contract award will be made on the basis of proposals, or quotations received in response to this notice.�Pease note that the Government MAY consider all Expressions of Interest (EOI) received by Friday October 29, 2021 by 3:30 PM EST.� A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� All information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses to this notice must be emailed to Mariangie.Rivera@va.gov and it must be received no later than 3:30 PM EST on Wednesday November 03, 2021.� Submitters are responsible for ensuring their EOI reaches the designated Contracting Specialist on-time before the deadline expires.
