- UPDATED INFORMATION ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Attached are DRAFT documents pertaining to the work proposed for fiscal year 2022 on the Alturas Water System Improvements & Cabin Creek Drainage Restoration project on the Sawtooth National Forest.� Please note that these documents and details are subject to change prior to the actual solicitation issuance, depending upon available funding or other priorities.� The attached documents are draft documents only and are subject to change.�� The estimated price range for the anticipated project is $250,000 to $500,000. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Project Summary: The Sawtooth National Forest may issue Solicitation No. 1240LT22R0008 for the Alturas Water System Improvements & Cabin Creek Drainage Restoration project on the Sawtooth National Forest. �This is not a solicitation and in no way commits the Government to award a contract.� The Government does not intend to award a contract(s) based solely on this site visit nor does it intend to pay for any costs incurred in response to this announcement.� The intent of this notice is to ensure that prospective vendors may see the areas prior to heavy snowfall and issuing the solicitation.� This solicitation is anticipated to be issued prior to March, 2022.� The work anticipated under any contract resulting from the solicitation will be started in early spring (estimate early/mid April starting date), with on-the-ground construction to commence after Labor Day when favorable for the prosecution of work and when the water system gets shutdown. Site Visit Information: A Forest Service site visit for the project will be held on October 28, 2021 at 3:00pm MST.� The meeting will begin at the Alturas Outlet Picnic Area parking lot near Alturas Lake.� To access the location, from Stanley, Idaho proceed south approximately 18.5 miles on Idaho State Highway #75 to the junction with Forest Road 70205.� Turn right onto Forest Road 70205 and proceed approximately 2.5 miles to the project location.� The site visit will conclude by 4:30pm.�
