- BASE WAREHOUSE AND SUPPLY Category: Y1BZ NAICS Code: 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction Contract: 115th Fighter Wing, 3110 Mitchell Street, Madison, WI 53704, POC: MSgt Katherine Fox and SSgt Joshua King SYNOPSIS: Alter B412 Flow-Through Aircraft Shelter The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this project including interested Small Business sources.� This notice is for planning purposes only.� No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice or any follow up information requests. All interested parties should respond.� The 115th Fighter Wing intends to issue a solicitation and award a firm-fixed price contract for project XGFG182004 F-35: Alter B412 (Flow-Through Aircraft Shelter). The magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.� All interested offerors shall provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intent to submit a proposal as a prime contractor no later than 15�November 2021, 5:00PM CST.� This notification, which shall not exceed five typewritten pages, must include: (1) Positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor (2) Completed and signed Source Sought Information Request Form (3) Listing of projects completed during the past six years, both for government and private industry.� The type of project, dollar value, contract number, location, and point of contact are to be included.� Indicate if you were prime or subcontractor, and if subcontractor, provide the name and point of contact for the prime contractor.� (4) Brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel that would be used to accomplish the contract. In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this solicitation, it may be advertised as unrestricted.� Information shall be provided via email to: katherine.fox@us.af.mil and joshua.king.54@us.af.mil.� Include the following in the subject line, �Sources Sought W50S9F-22-R-0003�.� No facsimile responses will be honored. PROGRAM DETAILS: The 115th Fighter Wing at Dane County Regional Airport -Truax Field, Madison, WI is conducting market research seeking capable sources for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary to alter B412 Flow-Through Aircraft Shelter. The project includes improvements to the 40,000 SF aircraft shelter and attached lean-to. Typical work includes, but is not limited to minor demolition, utility improvements, rooftop fall protection, interior fall protection, upgraded aircraft fire detection/suppression system, specialized aircraft mechanical systems, specialized aircraft electrical systems, lightning protection system, upgraded security system, and modified technology systems. Work will be staged in a way that allows the Government to have use of 50% of the facility during construction. All work will be in accordance with design requirements, specifications, and drawings provided within the master specifications. This solicitation will result in a single construction contract for both new construction and alterations.
