Description

THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY; THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. This Presolicitation Notice is issued solely for informational and planning purposes. The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) intends to solicit and negotiate a noncompetitive sole source contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY& IMF) intends to solicit from Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation/Northrop Grumman Marine Systems for maintenance, repair, and overhaul of the Ship's Service Turbine Generator (SSTG) on board a Virginia Class submarine. In accordance with DFARS PGI 206.302-1, a sources sought notice, N32253-21-R-0009, was posted to the Government Point of Entry (GPE), beta.sam.gov, from 24 September�2021 to 28 September 2021 to determine whether other sources could satisfy this requirement. The Government received zero response from interested vendors. The Government received no other responses from industry indicating capability in performing the requirements. This pre-solicitation notification does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this notification is purely voluntary and the Government does not assume financial responsibility for any costs incurred. This posting serves as a pre-solicitation notice in association with N32253-21-R-0009 and in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.204.
