Description: (i)�This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii)��The solicitation number is 75N95022Q00011 and the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This acquisition is for a commercial item or service and is conducted under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13�Simplified Acquisition Procedures; FAR Subpart 13.5�Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items; and FAR Part 12�Acquisition of Commercial Items, and is not expected to exceed the simplified acquisition threshold. (iii)��The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) Number 2021-07, with effective date September 10, 2021. (iv)� The associated NAICS code 334516 - Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing and the small business size standard is 1000 employees. This requirement is a Total small-business set-aside. This is a Brand Name or Equal requirement for an Agilent Nucleic Acid Analyzer. (v)�This requirement is for the following items: An instrument for analyzing and separating nucleic acid samples with high molecular weights in an effort to prep samples for long read sequencing experiments. Instrument shall be able to load and analyze at least three 96-well sample plates (288 samples) unattended without any user intervention or additional robotics/liquid handling requirement Instrument shall be able to separate high molecular weight DNA up to 165 kb and detect nucleic acids down to 50 fg/?L input concentration Instrument shall be able to switch between 2 different gel/application types without stopping in-progress instrument operation. Instrument shall be able to analyze large gDNA smears and fragments through 165 kb using pulsed field separation. Instrument shall be able to analyze NGS smears, fragments, cfDNA, total RNA, and mRNA using direct field electrophoresis. Instrument shall have a sizing precision of ?2% Instrument shall have a data analysis software package capable of sizing, quantification, smear analysis, integrity determination and report generation (vii)��The Government anticipates award of a firm fixed-price purchase order for this acquisition, and the anticipated delivery date is within 90 days after receipt of order (ARO). Delivery will be F.O.B. destination.
