- Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) has a requirement for�Fiber Containers and Spacers, NSN: 8140011247600, Drawing Number: 13-9-119 Rev H (Containers) and Drawing 13-19-143 Rev C (Spacers),�quantity of 250,000 each and Fuze Collar, NSN:13-19-142:81361, Drawing: 13-19-142 Rev E, quantity 222,000. The applicable NAICS code is 332999 with the Small Business size standard of 750 employees. Interested vendors shall submit response to the following questions to carly.c.frye.civ@mail.mil. 1) Does industry consider these items commercial, commercially modified, or non-commercial based off the definitions below: a) Commercial item: Any item, other than real property, that is of a type�customarily used by the general public or by non-governmental entities�for purposes other than governmental purposes, and- ����������������(i)�Has been sold, leased, or licensed to the general public; or ����������������(ii)�Has been offered for sale, lease, or license to the general� � � � � � � � � � � � � �public b) Commercially Modified:��Minor modifications of a type not customarily� available in the commercial marketplace made to meet Federal�Government requirements. Minor modifications means modifications�that do not significantly alter the nongovernmental function or essential�physical characteristics of an item or component, or change the�purpose�of a process. Factors to be considered in determining whether�a modification is minor include the value and size of the modification and the comparative value and size of the final product.� c) Non Commercial: Item is not considered a Commercial Item or Commercially Modified.� Item's characterics are nothing like a commercially sold item.� 2) Can vendor's hold pricing for 2 years? Possibility for a�base year with 100% option quantity type contract.� 3) Provide past performance for manufacture of this item or a similar item.� 4) Provide expected lead times and quantity of production deliveries per month.� Please respond to this Sources Sought no later than 4 November 2021 at 12pm CST.� All responses shall be submited to carly.c.frye.civ@mail.mil.
