The Department of Veterans Affairs, Regional Procurement Office (RPO) East, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, on behalf of Veteran Affairs Medical Center Durham is in the process of planning a requirement for Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Repair services for Air Compressor and pumps (Med-Gas). See the attached Performance Work Statement. Further, the sought requirement is for preventive maintenance and repairs on the air compressors and vacuum systems providing compressed air and vacuum for numerous medical processes. The contractor shall perform all routine service, maintenance, and repair during normal duty hours except for the dental air compressor. The dental air compressor maintenance shall be performed during dental off-hours. This may fall outside defined normal working hours and shall be conducted at no extra cost to the government. Service calls are responses and subsequent repairs or adjustments of the Compressors and/or Vacuum Pump or problems reported to the Contractor by the COR. If the service call cannot be resolved within two (2) hours, the Contractor shall immediately secure back up Compressors and/or Vacuum Pump units and notify the COR of the problem and the time and date corrective action shall be completed. To be eligible for a VA SDVOSB or VOSB set-aside, the firm must be verified in the VA s Office of Small Business Utilization s (OSDBU) Veteran Information Pages (VIP) database as an SDVOSB or VOSB at the time the firm submits its offer to the VA. Additional information on VA s Veterans First Contracting Program can be found on OSDBU s website at https://www.va.gov/osdbu/verification/ . In addition, the SDVOSB/VOSB must qualify as a small business under SBA s regulations.
