- Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Memphis District, intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract with Fairbanks Morse LLC, citing FAR Part 13.106. To the best of the Government's knowledge, there are no other firms in the area that can satisfy this requirement.� This is a contract to perform engine repairs on four (4) Fairbanks Morse 12 Cyl. 38D 8-1/8 engines.� Execution and completion of the project will result in the repair of�the engines so that they are fully mission capable. The project also includes site cleanup.� The location will be W. G. Huxtable Pumping Plant, Marianna, Arkansas. Award of this contract will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS, however interested firms may submit a capability statement in response to the above requirement with cost/price information by November 9, 2021 @ 10:00 AM CST.
