Description
November 2, 2021:� This sources sought notice was updated to upload an attachment to respond to vendor's questions received. 1.� Background The NIST Gaithersburg Health Unit (HU) performs COVID-19 rapid antigen test on NIST employees who are enrolled in the biweekly COVID-19 testing program as part of the federal government�s effort to minimize the spread of COVID-19 on federal properties.� 2.� Contractor Performance Requirements The Contractor shall provide the following: A). Rapid Antigen test For SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19 disease) with Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) form the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).� The NIST HU is only aware of the three test listed below: Celltrion CareStart BinaxNow However, any rapid antigen test meeting the FDA EUA requirement will suffice.� All the rapid test shall have at least 3 month of shelf life (with FDA approved extension) before expiration after arrival at NIST.�� B). Quantity Contractor shall provide 200 to 600 test (NOT test kits) per week when requested by NIST.� NIST will contact the contractor at the end of each week and place a new order when needed.� C). Shipping Contractor shall ship the order within 3 business day and the order must be delivered to NIST within 2 business day and on a weekday.��� A shipping order email with tracking number shall be sent to NIST when the order is shipped.�� 3.� Period Of Performance ����������������������� Period of performance is expected to begin in January 2022 with a six month period of performance, however, option period will be included to exercise if needed. 4.� Instructions to Responders: Contracting Office Address, Department of Commerce, National Institute of Standards and Technology, Acquisition Management Division, 100 Bureau Drive, Building 301, Room B121, Mail Stop 1640, Gaithersburg, MD, 20899-1640 NIST is seeking responses from all responsible sources.� Small businesses are defined under the associated NAICS code for this effort 339113 Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing and as those domestic sources having 750 or less employees.� Please include your company�s size classification and socio-economic status in any response to this notice. Interested parties that have the capabilities to meet the Government�s basic requirements are requested to provide a narrative demonstrating their capabilities to meet ALL the requirements of this sources sought notice.� The response shall be formatted to clearly identify/reference the section of the sources sought being addressed.� Responses shall be provided via email and shall be no more than 5 pages, describing their abilities to meet all requirements to monica.brown@nist.gov no later than the response date of November 8, 2021, 10:00 a.m. for this sources sought notice. The report should include relevant information to your capabilities including any requirements that cannot be met or is deemed close to but not meeting an identified requirement. Also, the following information is requested to be provided as part of the response to this sources sought notice: Name of company(ies), their addresses, DUNS#, and a point of contact for the company (name, phone number, fax number and email address) that provide the services for which specifications are provided. Indication if the company(ies) are small business and social economic category(ies). Indication of whether the services required are currently on one or more GSA Schedule (i.e. Multiple Award Schedules [MAS]) contracts and, if so, the GSA MAS contract number(s). Indication if the company(ies) can provide all, or some, of the services. Any other relevant information that is not listed above which the Government should consider in developing its minimum specifications and finalizing its market research.
