The additional information has been highlighted in yellow. Modification 1:��The purpose of this modification, dated�15 October 2021, is�to insert newly effective clause�1352.223-99 Ensuring Adequate COVID-19 Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors (Oct 2021). Please see attachment entitled ""1352.223-99 Ensuring Adequate COVID-19 Safety Protocols for Federal Contactors"". ***REFERENCE ATTACHED COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION AND�STATEMENT OF NEED FOR COMPLETE TECHNICAL DETAILS AND TERMS�AND CONDITIONS IN WHICH CONTRACTORS MUST BE IN COMPLIANCE WITH TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR AWARD. FAILURE TO MEET ALL REQUIREMENTS WILL RESULT IN�A NO BID*** In addition, it is a REQUIREMENT that you fill out FAR 52.204-24 (Oct�2020) in the attached document titled ""NF-FS7100-22-00101CAL_Combined Synopsis - SM BUS - Remediation Cleanup Action Plan"" (seehighlighted text). This applies to all acquisitions. The Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) formerly occupied and operated the Auke Bay Marine Station (ABMS) located 11305 Glacier Highway, Juneau, AK 99821 (See NF-FS7100-22-00101CAL_Statement of Work_Figures - Figure 1). The northern portion of the former ABMS is now owned by the City and Bureau of Juneau (CBJ) (Figure 2) but NOAA retains the environmental liabilities associated with historical battery recycling business that operated on the former NOAA property, adjacent Hagmeier property to the north, and right of way of the Glacier Highway to the east. The location of the historical battery recycling business is referred to as the Glacier Highway Battery Dump Site. The Glacier Highway Battery Dump Site was designated by the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) Spill Prevention and Response Division as File Number 1531.38.006 and Hazard ID No. 4636.� The purpose of this project is to develop a cleanup action plan and cost estimate for remediating the site to a level that would support a cleanup action complete determination by ADEC following the implementation of the cleanup action plan and submittal of the cleanup action report. Site is in Juneau, Alaska. Period of Performance: 180 days from date of award.
