DLA Aviation is issuing this source sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties that can provide the required six (6) Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) Jig Bore machine(s) with manual override and with turnkey installation any identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than the stated closing date/time. �The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 333517. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL. IT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION AND SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. RESPONSES IN ANY FORM ARE NOT OFFERS AND THE GOVERNMENT IS UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO AWARD A CONTRACT AS A RESULT OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. DLA Aviation Richmond intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for (6) Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) Jig Bores and is seeking sources that can provide, install and provide training for the machines. Interested parties that can provide the required CNC Jig Bores including tooling, installation, and training may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than the stated closing date/time.
