F-35 ALTER BUILDING 400 AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE SQUADRON (AMXS) Category: Y1AZ NAICS Code: 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction Contract: 115th Fighter Wing, 3110 Mitchell Street, Madison, WI 53704, POC: Major Dave Mattila Synopsis: CONSTRUCT F-35 ALTER BUILDING 400 AMXS The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this project including interested Small Business sources.� This notice is for planning purposes only.� No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice or any follow up information requests. All interested parties should respond.� The 115th Fighter Wing intends to issue a solicitation and award a firm-fixed price contract to Construct Medical Readiness Facility. The magnitude of this project is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000.� All interested concerns will provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intent to submit a proposal as a prime contractor no later than 23 November 2021, 5:00PM CST.� This notification, which shall not exceed five typewritten pages, must include ALL of the following: (1) Positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor (2) A completed and signed Source Sought Information Request Form (3) A listing of projects completed during the past six years, both for government and private industry.� The type of project, dollar value, contract number, location, and point of contact are to be included.� Indicate if you were prime or subcontractor, and if subcontractor, provide the name and point of contact for the prime contractor.� (4) A brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel that would be used to accomplish the contract. In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted.� Information shall be provided via email to: dave.mattila.2@us.af.mil.� Include the following in the subject line: Sources Sought W50S9F-22-R-0006.� No facsimile responses will be honored. PROGRAM DETAILS: The 115th Fighter Wing at Dane County Regional Airport -Truax Field, Madison, WI is conducting market research seeking capable sources for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary to construct project XGFG182009 F-35 Alter B400 AMXS Facility. This project is to modify the existing aircraft hangar facility to accommodate the current and future mission of the facility. Scope of work will include, but is not limited to, demolish and remodel the facility�s administration and maintenance areas. Alter the existing facility to accommodate F-35 operations to include demolishing and rebuilding the administration and maintenance areas, adding two ABA-compliant elevators, and bringing all required power (270 VDC), HVAC, and fire suppression to all aircraft parking spots. Project includes a partial roof replacement. The facility will receive an upgrade to the existing lightning protection and fall protection system to comply with F-35 requirements. This project will be registered with the United States Green Building Council (USGBC). All work will be in accordance with design requirements, specifications, and drawings provided within the master specifications. This solicitation will result in a single construction contract for both new construction and demolition.
