Description

The Army Contracting Command (ACC) � Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) (ACC-I) intends to issue a modification to a sole source Firm-Fixed Price Task Order awarded to New Age Protection, Inc., 6564 Loisdale Court, Suite 1000, Springfield Virginia 22150-1833. This will be Mod 10 to Contract /Task Order W911W4-15-D-0012-0009. The purpose of this modification is to add and exercise Federal Acquisition Regulation clause 52.217-8 Option To Extend Services to the TO. This clause was not evaluated at the time of TO award. The Contractor will provide Access Control and Security Escorts to the 708th & AFSC, Ft. Meade, MD. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(b), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 16.5052(b)(2)(i)(A) ""Exceptions to the Fair Opportunity"". The applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS)�is 561612, Security Guards and Patrol Services, with a size standard of $20.5M. This notice of intent is for information purposes only. All sources eligible to meet this requirement must respond in writing, via e-mail. Responses must be supported with clear and convincing evidence that clearly articulate the company�s ability to satisfy this requirement as outlined above. A request for documentation will not be considered as an affirmative response. If no responses are received by the due date of this notice, to demonstrate comparable capability, then a sole source acquisition award will be made.� Responses to this notice must be sent to the Contract Specialist, Lakesha Smith at lakesha.m.smith.civ@army.mil. Please reference the announcement number on all correspondence. A determination by the United States Government (USG) not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the USG. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotations. All submissions become USG property and will not be returned. Contractors are advised the USG will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice of intent to sole source.
