Description

***** PLEASE SEE ATTACHED PLA SURVEY ***** The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District, is soliciting comments from the construction community addressing the potential use of a Project Labor Agreement (PLA) for a large-scale construction project (exceeding $25 million) located at Fort Meade, MD. Project Description: This acquisition is for the construction of a specially designed SOF operations facility (114,000 SF) of permanent construction including supporting facilities with associated site work and environmental measures. The primary facility is not standard design with the majority of the structure built to sensitive compartmented information facility standards. The facility includes open office spaces, operations areas, SCIF spaces, large server areas, building utilities and connections and redundant mechanical and electrical systems, secure telecommunication distribution systems, loading/dock platform, and support space. The mission support areas provide joint staff offices, executive offices, labs, collaborative spaces, and meeting rooms. A parking lot feature will also be included as part of the site facilities. The facility will be built on Fort Meade, Maryland and will be a single construction award.
