- The US Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis (IAW FAR 13.106-1) with Cytobuoy B.V., Zeelt 2, Bodegraven, Zuid-Holland 2411 DE NLD, for a service contract for a CytoSense Flow Cytometer. The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) requires a service contract for the CytoSense Flow Cytometer for continued operation of the instrument. The services shall include inspection, cleaning of optics, pumps, and electronics, exchange of disposables such as filters and sample tubing, cuvette cleaning, and calibration during the contract period. The CytoSense instrument is patented and is only manufactured and sold by CytoBuoy. These are direct replacement parts/components for existing equipment. OEM parts and components guaranteed from CytoBuoy are needed to ensure proper function of the instrument to produce robust and reproducible data. This acquisition is being conducted under FAR 13.106-1. There are no set-aside restrictions for this requirement.� The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 811219 with a Small Business Size Standard of $22 million. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for this requirement.� However, parties interested in responding to this notice shall submit technical data, including price, sufficient to determine capability in providing the same or similar service.� All capability statements received by the closing date of the publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
