- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prison, Field Acquisition Office located in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services for the Federal Correctional Institutional (FCI) located in Big Spring, Texas.� Offerors are encouraged to submit comprehensive proposals providing all listed output.� Offerors who propose less will be evaluated accordingly.� Services to be provided include Inpatient/Outpatient physician and facility services, Long Term Care service, outpatient institution services, and Extended Stay Per Diem.� The contract type is a requirement type contract with firm fixed unit pricing.� The contract shall consist of a Base Year and four 12 month option years for renewal.� The estimated quantities for the Base Year and all Option Years are as follows: Inpatient Days:������ �������������265 estimated days, LTAC: � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � 50 days Outpatient Visits:� �������������� 710 estimated visits Extended Stay Per Diem:��� 50 days Due to the volume of Information, quantities of outpatient institution services will be provided in the solicitation document.� The solicitation will be made available on/or about November 05, 2021 and will be distributed solely through the General Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.beta.sam.gov/.� Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available.� The site provides downloading instructions.� All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site.� Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to ensure they have the most up to date information about this acquisition.� Please note all contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database.� If you have questions about the System for Award Management (SAM), Government procurements in general, or need assistance in the preparation of your quoted, a local Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) may be able to help.� The Procurement Technical Assistance Program was authorized by Congress in 1985 in an effort to expand the number of businesses capable of participating in the Government marketplace.� To locate a PTAC near you, go to http://www.aptac-us.org .
