Description

This is a one-time FMS buy of the Circuit Card Assembly in support of the ARC-164 used on the F-16, C-130J, and B-52 Aircraft. The proposed acquisition will be contracted sole source to Raytheon Company, CAGE 37695, Fort Wayne, IN, in pursuant to 10 USC 2304(C)(1). NSN: 5998-00-570-4262BY;�P/N: 918819-806, NOUN: Circuit Card Assembly. ITEM FUNCTION: Applies amplitude modulation to the RF carrier, generates receive/transmit signals, routes audio sidetone signals, provides feedback control for power output leveling, and processes RF signals to the RF power amp subassembly. ITEM MATERIAL: Various plastics, metals, and cermics. ITEM DESCRIPTION: LENGTH: 9.3 in; WIDTH: 6.3 in; HEIGHT: 3.0 in; WEIGHT: .5 lbs. QTY: 6 each DESTINATION: DTU003 FOB: Origin DELIVERY SCHEDULE: 31 August 2022� A written RFQ will be issued. The anticipated award date is 28 February 2022 The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the Authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 30 days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Govenment. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Based upon market research, the Government is anticipating using the policies contained in FAR Part 15, Contract by Negotiations, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement within 15 days of this notice.
